Yes, I LOVE Adventure Time, it's just that I like many shows and have little time to show my appreciation for them all. >u<

Should've uploaded this earlier, but I have never been so busy in school as I have been in the past month. This is Marceline's Axe Bass! She is my absolute favorite character from the show, along with Marshall Lee (the genderbent version from the genderbent episode) since he shares many characteristics.

So yes, I made this axe bass to go with my cosplay for Halloween!:la: I dressed as Marshall Lee, cuz everyone knows I am such a crossdesser. -shot- Although, it really isn't uncommon for a girl to dress up as a male character I would've loved to post some photos of my cosplay, but I forgot to get some single shots of myself. :D I'm sure I'll dress up as him again just for fun, someday, so then I can show you guys. I am not a pro cosplayer or anything (it was actually my first time hehe), but in my opinion it came out decent. Funny thing is that no one recognized me at school, even my friends had a hard time. XD

I never made a cosplay prop before, so this was whole new experience for me. An extremely fun one, at that! I did not use any specific tutorial, I kinda just grabbed ideas here and there and added my own. I never paper machèd, used a hot glue gun, spray paint, and lots of other things before. So since I am just a beginner, you can see some obvious mistakes, especially that ugly buckling on the head. I finished this within a span of 3 weeks (4 days time, total); I even stayed up until 4:30am on a school night just so I can have it in time for Halloween. Call me crazy but...I thought it was worth it. XD I wish I had even more time to work on it. It would've been much better and symmetrical, haha. But hey, I am proud of this, I really am. I even managed to add a working strap to it! My mom was the one who cut out the wood for the neck (I just gave her measurements). c:

Now observe the gross close-ups of the hot glue and underlying paper machè! 8D
If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask.

P.S. I would've taken much better quality photos, but alas...I don't have a camera, so I had to resort to using my phone.
