Let Me Demonstrate :gift:

Spring Break is ending for me, but at least I got something done, haha. I was hoping to finish two pictures, though...

This is a very early finished birthday gift for one of my good friends at school, Max. His birthday isn't until the 20th of April (I'm pretty sure) so I'll give it to him later. I'm happy I used the advice of another friend to start it sooner than planned.

But yes, yet another Yu-Gi-Oh character! I decided to draw Jaden (or Judai) Yuki for my friend because...umm...Max likes that show and it's a suiting character for me to draw, as some of my friends know. I had SO much fun drawing his hair, especially. It's probably the most natural hairstyle out of the 4 main characters from that show, lol. I went for Jaden's 4th season appearance (there's not much difference) 'cause I like it slightly better than the other one.

And as usual, I used markers mainly because it's a lot more faster. Though this time it didn't feel like that, especially with that hair. I'm positive it took more than an hour to finish just the hair.
As you guys can see, I used some unusual perspective! I'm so happy with the way it came out. I practiced perspective a lot last week, and I was hesitant at first to try it out on this picture but...this character really seemed to suit foreshortening poses. Him and his obnoxious happiness.

The card is a Winged Kuriboh LV10, because I couldn't torture myself enough with the details of the regular winged kuriboh. I swear, I feel as though I dissected a Yu-Gi-Oh card and wrote essays about each characteristic. I know those cards too well, now...
