Happy very belated birthday, *Lolly-pop-girl732! 
Aghh, I am truly truly sorry for taking so long to make your gift. I mean, you shouldn't have to wait that long. I'm just going to skip the excuses because you don't need to hear those...
Anywho, I drew a picture of Lolly's OC, Ember! So yeah, after a year I finally made another colored pencil artwork. Here Ember is putting her hair into a ponytail, ready to take on the day! I actually prefer to draw my friend's OCs, rather than their favorite character, as gifts.
I simply love OCs!
Ember seems like an awesome gal, and I think you should definitely draw her more, Lolly. c: Give her a backstory or something, haha! Now that I look back at her, I probably should've given her hair more volume...
As for the rest of the picture, it was fun, too! Definitely a lot of new stuff I never worked on before. I am proud of the faucet, since I never before seriously attempted to color shiny chrome things. It's hard and I hope to get better with that.
And then, y'know, there's the friggen bathroom tiles. About 411 tiles. 26 hours. of pain. Haha, I obviously didn't think that through when I sketched this out, but hey, it was worth it to me. XD
Gosh I should wrap this up before I write a novel. So yeah, thank you for not killing me for being late. Cuz I just about killed myself But most of all, of course, thank you for being such a FABULOUS friend!

Danette, I cannot BELIEVE you colored the individual tiles like that! I am in so much shock right now. The detail of this picture blows my mind so much that I'm not even sure I can point out everything that I love about this! Obviously, Ember herself looks gorgeous! The coloring on her hair, the perfect folds in her clothing an even what a natural pose that is! There's such detail on the tree outside the window and even products in the medicine cabinet! I notice something new every time I look at this!!! Perfect little hair bands on the counter top and a dull shine on the sink. THE TOOTHBRUSH IS CASTING A SHADOW? I swear, the attention to detail on this is insane, even for you! I'm so jealous of your awesomeness. There's texture to everything, the tiles and the towels in the background! The texture of everything also captures the light and is shaded accordingly. My mind is officially blown. You win all the awards for being one of the coolest people ever. Seriously. I don't even know what else to say anymore.
